Maggie’s Place is pleased to announce the relocation of The Zechariah House to the grounds of St. Monica’s Parish in Garfield Heights, Ohio
Maggie’s Place Ohio, which has operated The Zechariah House in Parma since 2009, has relocated! The new site is on the grounds of Saint Monica’s Parish in Garfield Heights. The new location provides us with the ability to serve more moms and babies at a centralized location with the support system of a vibrant and welcoming parish.
“We are so grateful to St. Monica’s for giving us a new home and welcoming us into their community,” said Laura Magruder, Maggie’s Place CEO. She added that the St. Monica’s site will initially house eight moms and their babies. They should move in later this summer.
The important work of Maggie’s Place depends on our partnerships in the community and with our friends, donors and volunteers. We are constantly inspired by, and grateful for, your support and involvement in our ministry to pregnant and parenting women. The Zechariah House will continue to offer a warmly welcoming and updated haven where mothers and babies can begin their journeys.
The Zechariah House will celebrate its new location with an open house, 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at the new location. To RSVP or find out more, please contact Erin at ehathaway@maggiesplace.org.
