Current Needs List
The Mary House is a unique extension of Maggie’s Place that is distinctive from our traditional homes and reopened in 2016. The Mary House serves as a housing program designated for women who have previously resided in our other homes. The home is located next the The Magdalene House and has the capacity to house up to 6 moms and their children.
The Mary House provides a safe and supportive home to women who are reunifying with their children. The Mary House aids each family in meeting their physical, mental and emotional needs by providing shelter, education classes, family coaching and counseling. The women residing here are also connected to community resources including job development, education programs, health insurance and child enrichment activities.
The Mary House also provides shelter to mothers who have chosen to place their children for adoption. The Mary House provides them with the support and space they need in order to heal.
