Maggie’s Place provides the structure, guidance and encouragement that the young mothers need to be successful as parents and successful, secure adults.

This small-scale, scattered-site housing model resembles real life. Our participants live in residential neighborhoods and access services both at home and at our Family Success Center. Maggie’s Place provides the structure, guidance and encouragement that the young mothers need to be successful as parents and successful, secure adults. Residents can stay until their child is nine months of age, and in certain cases, longer. Our unique model fosters success by:

  • Providing supported living in a small group environment
  • A setting that teaches and nurtures goal-setting behaviors that enable the young mother to achieve success
  • A focus on education, general and mental health, parenting skills and child development, combined with general independent living skills
